Architecture Schools have changed a lot during the past few years. We have observed the growth of various new fields, such as Ecology and new technologies (for example: computers, lasercuts, 3D printings...) the rising number of students, and also the evolution of teaching system.

 

Therefore, it’s difficult to plan what schools will be in years to come but we believe a school for architecture should be an invitation to create, a robust space for innovation, an open space for knowledge-sharing where ideas hatch and new concepts flow freely between students and teachers.

This is why we have designed a school that is flexible as possible by separating the building into two «temporal categories»

-  The first one is the concrete structure, permanent, simple and can adapt to the context, time and function.

-   The second one is temporary, has the possibility to be more complex and adapable to any needs or requirements. How we will work in the future ? We don’t what it’s gonna be, but it’s just need to be a work environment with more flexibility and openess for interpretation. Then they would become more stimulating to work in multiple ways.
