Romaric Richoux

The site is in Molenbeek Saint-Jean, in the first ring of the city, in a territory located between the former railway site of the Gare de l'Ouest and the Brussels-Charleroi Canal.  It is located above a depot of the STIB, Brussels transport company.

We have designed this project according to a functional mix within the urban fabric in order to revitalize living spaces through shared and collective functions.

 

A mix of housing types allowing architectural diversity and housing more adapted and evolving to the composition of households.

​

Finally, a population mix of different backgrounds and generations that leads to a better balanced distribution of the population and a strengthening of social cohesion.
